We are so proud of Grayson, who has been accepted into the Barnsley FC U11s Academy!

This is a fantastic achievement that reflects his dedication, passion, and commitment to working hard both on and off the pitch. At Wardle Academy, we love to see our young people pursuing their talents and striving to be the very best they can be.

Congratulations, Grayson – we will all be cheering you on as you take this exciting next step in your sporting journey!

🌈A perfect start to the day!

Yesterday morning, our playground was treated to this stunning full-arch rainbow! 🌈✨ It is a wonderful reminder of how bright and colourful our school community is. Thank you to our music tutor, Mr Rigg, for capturing this lovely photo!

🥣 Hands-on science in Year 4! 🧪

Our Year 4 class recently turned into a working digestive system!

They tracked food's journey through the body, starting with chewing in the mouth, traveling down the oesophagus, churning in the stomach, and moving through the small and large intestines before its final exit.

Using a few household items, we brought the biology to life:

🥣 Weetabix stood in for our food

🍊 Orange juice acted as stomach acid to break it down

🫗 Tights doubled as the intestines, squeezing out all the nutrients and moisture!

Messy, memorable, and full of fantastic learning! Great work Year 4!
