Tilly’s Turtle Swim Tots
These are fun sessions aimed at young children from birth to age 4. This session is led by a qualified instructor who will guide you through songs and free play to gain water confidence. To attend this please book on this session as spaces are limited.
For all those young at heart who know that there is no age limit to swimming! This is a session for the Over 50’s.
All these classes are subject to change.
Pool Admission Criteria
An adult of 16 years or over, who is a competent swimmer, must accompany all children under the age of eight.
1 adult: 2 children (4-7yrs)
1 adult: 1 child (under 4yrs)
Just in time
Last entry to the pool is 30 minutes prior to closing time.
We require all our swimmers to wear costumes, trunks or swim shorts in the pool at all times. Unfortunately shorts below the knee are not permitted in the pool. Snorkels and flippers are not permitted.
Having a good pre-swim hygiene routine is very important as it keeps the pool clean and safe to use for all our customers. It also means we have to add fewer chemicals to the water which makes the water fresher and more comfortable. Make sure you are doing your bit:

Please shower before you enter the pool
Meet #TrustTilly our Watergrove Centre’s official mascot. Tilly was designed by a Year 6 student from St James Primary School. Tilly will be promoting our various swimming sessions and will be appearing in a few to aid our young swimmers. Look out for Tilly at your next swimming session!
Adult Swimming Lessons
Taster sessions available until 5th April 2019. This is for all abilities from non-swimmers to improvers. This session is led by a qualified swim instructor. If you want to start something new or improve to achieve a personal goal then this session is for you!
This is a session for swimmers to swim distances to build their fitness. Lanes will be split up into ‘fast, medium and slow’ so all abilities are welcome.
